Healthier Snacking

When it comes to snacking, a healthier choice needn’t be a boring one!

Gnash bars taste great and are made using only the best natural, wholefood ingredients.  Our snacks are created using real dried fruit and nuts as well as lots of other nutritious ingredients from nature’s pantry.  That means all the sweet, salty and even spicy flavours come from completely natural sources.  We may occasionally have to add a hint of natural flavouring to our bars, but only a smidge!

What goes into making Gnash bars?

Almonds

Almonds are a great source of fibre and protein and contain lots of important nutrients such as vitamin E.  They are high in monosaturated fat which helps the heart maintain healthy levels of good HDL cholesterol.

Cashews

Like other nuts Cashews are great for maintaining a healthy heart, but they are also fantastic for eye health.  Cashews contain high levels of antioxidants such as lutein and zeaxanthin which when eaten daily helps to prevent the onset of deteriorating sight and blindness in older age.

Walnuts

Walnuts are high in monosaturated and polyunsaturated fats  – these are known as good fats.  Walnuts are also high in Omega-3 and can be a valuable constant in a balanced diet.

Brazil Nuts

Brazil nuts are packed with nutrients as well as heart-heathy fatty acids, antioxidants, minerals and fibre.

Dates

Dates are high in fibre and contain disease-fighting antioxidants.  They are excellent for brain health and are a great natural sweetener.

Mangoes

Mangoes contain good levels of Vitamin C and Vitamin A which are great for your skin.   Phytochemicals in mangoes also offer anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties to the digestive system.

Ginger

Ginger has long been known for its medicinal purposes and varied health benefits.  Gingerol is full of antioxidant properties and is a natural way of easing aches and inflammation.

Barley Flakes

Barley is a wholegrain absolutely packed with nutrients.  Benefits of eating barley include improved digestive health as well as blood sugar control

Chilli Flakes

We use real chilli flakes to add spice where it’s needed.  It has been said that eating chilli can boost your metabolism.

Rice Syrup

Our bars are bound using rice syrup which is also a natural sweetener.

Vegans & Vegetarians

Our entire range is vegetarian and vegan friendly! 

Gluten Free

At the moment there are no gluten-free products in the Gnash range.  We are however working towards producing an entire gluten-free range and can’t wait to share them all with you in the near future! 

Nut Allergy

All Gnash snacks are made using nuts and therefore are not suitable for any person with a nut allergy.  We do however have lots of exciting ideas for future creations, so watch this space!
